At St Matthew's, the war memorial is inside the churchyard. In Appleton Thorn, the war memorial is between Green Lane and Lumb Brook Road. As these are public highways, we ask drivers to avoid the area, if at all possible, between 10.45 and 11.15 AM. The small stretch of road between Green Lane and Lumb Brook Road will be closed for the ceremony and spectators are asked to stay off the highway.
