Ilmington Downs and Stour Valley Churches

The Ilmington Downs and Stour Valley Churches comprise two benefices, of Tredington & Darlingscott (one parish), and Ilmington, Stretton-on-Fosse, Whitchurch and Preston-on-Stour (four parishes). The parishes were brought together in this way in the early 2000s. The Rector is the Revd Canon Dr Richard Cooke, who lives at Ilmington Rectory.

On Sunday 7 December Bishop Sophie (the Bishop of Coventry) will be ordaining our very own Ros Wakefield as a deacon. It is very rare to have an ordination in a parish church so this will be quite an occasion! More details to follow, but please do keep the date free.
