All Saints Parish Church is recruiting…

Based in Lanchester, All Saints Parish Church is a friendly and inclusive village church eight miles outside of Durham. Music plays an important role in our worship and outreach. Our services include BCP and Common Worship liturgies, and we hope to introduce more contemporary worship on a semi- regular basis. We are now looking to appoint a new Organist and Choirmaster.

Our Organist will play for services up to 5 times per month at both All Saints and Saint John’s Burnhope, plus special church festivals and events. The role also involves leading weekly choir rehearsals, and working with the clergy to plan worship.

Presently we have a small choir. We would like to grow in numbers and skill, to reintroduce sung evensong for feasts and festivals, and to extend our repertoire.
