Weddings

The churches of the Riverside Parishes offer a range of beautiful venues for a wedding. The parishes are united together for marriages, which means that if you live in any one of the Riverside Parishes, you are entitled to get married in any of the four churches (St George's in Low Middleton, All Saints in Hurworth, St John the Baptist in Low Dinsdale, and All Saints in Girsby). If you don't live in the parishes, you may well already have a relevant connection, and It is always possible to establish one through attendance.

The Church of England has a helpful website called Your Church Wedding, containing plenty of information about church weddings (including fees: almost always well under £1000).
