If you feel isolated or are worried about your energy bills, welcome to our warm hub - a safe community space.
The Hub organisers are also looking for volunteers in the kitchen, help with setting up and clearing away, and also volunteers just to meet and greet and chat. Drop in one Friday to find out more!
The Hub runs during the school terms only.
Do you have an interest in the churchyard?
We will be tidying, flattening and re-seeding grave plots in preparation for the next mowing season. You can come and go as you please; times are suggestions. If you would like to help, please come along with appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves and bring any tools you have, such as a trowel, fork, rake, secateurs, etc. We will also have a range of tools available. There are lots of jobs to do, such as putting out bird feeders, bird boxes and bird baths, as well as the usual clean-up activities. Coffee and snack lunch provided from 12 noon.
Please note that, to maintain a tidy appearance, we strongly discourage planting grave spaces. Maintenance takes time and is costly, and we are obliged to ensure the space is looked after as effectively as possible.

Come and join us! As the local roads are blocked off for the race, from 8am to around 1pm, it is not practical to hold a mid-morning service this day. For the last few years we have offered hot & cold drinks, and cakes & bakes, in return for a donation to the work of the church. We set up the gazebo in front of the Bakehouse office for some community fun. There's also a good view of the runners from the churchyard, which is raised above street level!

This service takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, using liturgy from Common Worship with hymns and music. Junior Church for children aged 2-7 and 8+ runs alongside in the Bakehouse, which is adjacent to the church.
Do stay for refreshments after the service - there's very good coffee!

This service from the Book of Common Prayer takes place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
This service takes place when there is a 5th Sunday in the month, using liturgy from Common Worship with hymns and music. There is no Junior Church but activities are provided for children in the south chapel.
