For eight centuries the people of West Teignmouth have gathered in the church to celebrate their weddings and the births of their children. They have gathered to mourn their loved ones and to remember those who were lost at sea or whose final resting place is in a foreign field. For nine centuries the people of West Teignmouth have gathered in St James’ to share and join together in their worship.

Today, in the 21st century, St James' still stands as a constant reminder of our shared Christian heritage. We share in our worship; we share in the pain of bereavement and; we look forward to sharing the celebrations of love in marriage and of new birth.

St James' Pop Up Cafe: 3pm - 4.30pm each Tuesday in term time for tea, coffee & cake. All welcome.

The regular monthly Julian Group also meets at St James on the third Saturday on each month.

St Michael's, Teignmouth

We have a Holy Communion service at 9:30am every Sunday and a All-age family praise on the 1st Sunday of every month at 11am.

There is a said Holy Communion every Tuesday Morning at 9:30am.

St Michael's also hosts "Mickey's" a Bumps, Babies & Toddlers group every Thursday at 9.30am.

Regular Coffee Morning from 10.00am till noon on First Saturday of each month.

St Nectan's Church, Ashcombe

The historic St Nectan’s Church in Ashcombe is Grade I listed, maintained by the PCC and local volunteers. Financial support comes from fundraising and charitable donations. Assistance of all kinds is invaluable to St Nectan’s and the local community.

St Nectan’s Church is a social and spiritual focal point for the local community who rely on this ancient building as their spiritual centre. Although the population of Ashcombe is under 100, many inhabitants of the village and surrounding districts are able to trace their ancestors through the church records. Baptisms, weddings and funerals are significant events in village life and the church is one of the anchors that binds the community.

St Nectan's Church is open for personal prayer every day.

St John's, Bishopsteignton

Welcome to St John's. We have services for all ages, informal and traditional, holy communion and coffee mornings. St John's is a beautiful location for weddings, funerals and christenings.
