Help shape the future of children, young people and families across Haldon Mission Community.
Are you passionate about helping children and young people discover faith, find belonging and flourish? Do you love building relationships, inspiring others and seeing new possibilities grow?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and relational Growing Faith Worker to help develop our vision for children, young people and families across Haldon Mission Community, centred around Teignmouth and its surrounding communities.
We have some wonderful foundations to build on, including strong relationships with five local primary schools and one secondary school, opportunities to develop after-school activities, and a new SWYM youth worker to work alongside. We want to build on these relationships, reach families beyond our existing church congregations and create opportunities for children and young people to explore Christian faith in the places where they live, learn and spend time.
This is an opportunity to do more than simply run activities. We are looking for someone who can bring people together, inspire and equip volunteers, develop partnerships and help shape a sustainable vision for the future.
We're flexible about hours! We welcome applications from people looking for either a part-time or full-time role. We are much more interested in finding the right person than insisting on a particular working pattern.
If you have a heart for children, young people and families, enjoy working collaboratively and are excited by the possibility of growing something new, we'd love to hear from you.
The opportunity:
Three-year fixed-term appointment
Salary £30,000–£35,000 FTE, dependent on experience
Part-time or full-time options (up to 35 hours per week)
Based across Haldon Mission Community, with a particular focus on Teignmouth and surrounding communities
Come and help us grow something lasting!
