About Us

The Aune Valley Mission Community is rural and made up of 7 villages and a number of hamlets, within an area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Hams, Devon, close to the river Avon.   It comprises 5 parishes each with their own special community and character. There are three inland parishes: Churchstow, Loddiswell, and Woodleigh; together with two coastal parishes: South Milton and Thurlestone with Buckland and Bantham.  The five churches are:

We are very thankful to the many visiting Clergy, our locally licensed ministers and worship leaders who are leading our services during our period of vacancy without a resident priest. This brings variety, but also change from our normal patterns of worship so please read our postings of times and locations of services carefully.
