StowCaple Churches

Seven idyllic churches in the Wye Valley, the StowCaple Benefice is an active and friendly collection of parish churches. This is a perfect place for pilgrimage, and this will become a permanent pilgrimage place, part of the Wye Valley Walk Pilgrimage, there will be a link soon and more details as we develop the routes and prayer/experience in our churches.

Over the Benefice you find diversity of worship, from both Common Worship and the timeless Book of Common Prayer services, to  family services. We also have a contemporary worship service 'Sanctuary', a Celtic Service once a month, and a contemplative prayer space one a month. There are Bible studies online and in person and if you are seeking to know more about the Christian faith and want to attend an introduction to Christianity course, the next one will be advertised on here soon.

If you are housebound and unable to get to church, we are more than willing to provide home communions.    Our Rector, Rev'd Laura Hewitt, is always happy to talk to parishioners about God, worship and life. And if you want prayer or to be added to our church prayer list please email her to let her know.

We also have a Whatsapp group to keep people updated, please do send your mobile number with permission to be added. Please do visit our website for information about our services and work. https://stowcaplechurches.co.uk or join our Facebook group StowCaple Group. If you want to received the weekly pew news with everything on it, please send your email to Reverend Laura on [email protected]

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Rector Reverend Laura Hewitt or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
