On Thursday we welcomed 150 children from St Lawrence CE Primary school to church to explore the events of Holy Week and Easter. A team of volunteers guided the children around six stations, inviting them to learn about the events that took place and reflect on their meaning. The stations were Future Hopes (the story of Palm Sunday), Servant King (Jesus washes the disciples' feet), Remember Me (the Last Supper), Alone (the Garden of Gethsemane), the Cross (Symbol of Hope) and Resurrection (New life). A wonderful time was had by all and Rev Rachael would like to express her sincere thanks to the volunteers who made it all possible. The stations will be in church over the next few days if you would like to call in and see them.
