Each week, from the First Sunday of Advent ( 30th Nov) we will light a candle, marking our journey toward Christmas and reminding us of God’s promises that never fade.
The First Candle — Hope
The first candle shines in the darkness as a reminder of our hope in Christ. Even when the world feels uncertain, God’s light is steady. Advent begins with hope, the confident expectation that God’s promises are true and that His plan is good.
The Second Candle — Peace
The second candle calls us to rest in God’s peace. In the middle of our busy lives, we pause to remember that true peace doesn’t come from a quiet schedule but from trusting the One who calms every storm.
The Third Candle — Joy
The third candle, often pink, represents joy. It reminds us that joy is not dependent on circumstances but flows from knowing Christ. We celebrate that He is near and that His presence fills our hearts with lasting gladness.
The Fourth Candle — Love
The final candle before Christmas represents love — the deep, selfless love that sent Jesus to dwell among us. As we light this candle, we are reminded that God’s love is the answer to the weariness and emptiness our world often gives.
As we journey through Advent, may we let go of our hurry and make room in our hearts for the One who brings hope, peace, joy, and love — the greatest gift of all.
You are most welcome to join us for any or all of our services.
