St Lawrence Denton

We are a warm, welcoming, worshipping community which is culturally diverse and open to all who come. We share the light and love of God celebrating and sharing God's love for all as we work to grow the Kingdom of God in this part of our diocese. We offer a place of safety and support, with a concern for justice for all, seeking at all times to be open to the leading light of the Holy Spirit. Our Grade II* Church building is of great historical & architectural interest, however our spiritual commitment is forward looking to expand Gods mission in the local community.

St. Lawrence is currently in vacancy. Services are still taking place each Sunday at 9.45am. Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals can still be arranged to take place at St. Lawrence's.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO - Jennie Clark ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - Abbey Clephane-Wilson ([email protected]) If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
