On Saturday 29th June our wonderful Rev Lesley Stear was priested at Manchester Cathedral.Supported by family, friends and colleagues, Rev Lesley, was ordained amidst a great outpouring of joy. Her dedication and hard work has shone throughout the years of her training; not forgetting the zoom lectures during covid.RETM could not be prouder of Rev Lesley God bless you in your ministry
God is at work across our diocese and we give him thanks and praise for this! Come Holy Spirit and continue to move powerfully among us, our neighbours, colleagues and friends. We pray our three Community prayers today, believing that God loves, heals and saves.
It’s nice when you have all your ducks in a row. Well, The Ramsbottom & Edenfield Team Ministry are certainly on track In January our new Rector was licensed, and now our Curate Rev Lesley is shortly to be Ordained on the 29th June at Manchester Cathedral. Please pray for her as she takes this final step into ministry. We are very lucky to have her, and as a Team, we send her our love and best wishes.
St Paul's railings have finally had a lick of paint. They look superb. Thank you to Ramsbottom Civic Pride, who took on the onerous task of repainting these railings who have been crying out for a a face lift for some time. Ramsbottom is certainly looking loved after all the hard work put in by Heather Ryder and her wonderful team.Even the weather didn't put them off.
