Bamburgh, Belford & Lucker

We are a Benefice of three churches, St Aidan’s Bamburgh, St Mary’s Belford and St Hilda’s Lucker. All three churches have very different characters.  We share one vicar, Revd Louise Taylor-Kenyon, and two additional priests, Revd Phyl Carruthers and Revd Paul Knox. We offer weekly Communion in all our churches as well as a number of other acts of worship weekly and monthly as well as other opportunities to gather together.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO of the relevant parish (details on each parish page) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Carol Butler, 07825 167016, [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
