St Peter's, Bywell

Welcome to St Peter's. This ancient parish church has welcomed people for over 1,200 years and today serves the people of Stocksfield, Bywell, Broomley, New Ridley and Apperley.

St Peter's is generally used for a Holy Communion service on the first Sunday of each month at 9.30, on the third Sunday for a reflective Service of the Word and is also used for a late afternoon Evening or other special service on the afternoon of the second Sunday of each month.

St Peter's is our largest capacity church building so is also used for many church festivals, special events such as concerts, and celebrations.

St John's, Stocksfield

Welcome to St John's

The church is currently open daily for private prayer and for Communion services twice each month on Sundays.

Our weekly Wednesday afternoon Holy Communion and social event takes place in the St John's Church Hall. So too do our Sunday afternoon 'Growing with Jesus' family services which take place generally fortnightly.

St George's, Mickley

Welcome to St George's, a beautiful church high on the banks of the Tyne, just south of Mickley Square.

A Holy Communion service is held at Mickley on the third Sunday of each month and a reflective Service of the Word on the first Sunday as well as additional services through the seasons of the year. St George's is a beautiful church with a welcoming community who would love to meet you.
