St Mary's is gem, being a thatched church with a round tower that goes back to approx AD 700. The exterior is therefore quite exquisite and charming; inside it is unadorned and light which enhances the sense of timelessness. Due to the plastered ceiling the accoustics are wonderful and so it is the home of the very gifted Village Voices Choir, which meets every Sat at 10am.
The church is open every day during daylight hours and welcomes many visitors. There is also a small library. There is a service on the first Sunday of every month at 3.00 pm, and all are welcome.
