We have a full schedule planned to help us reflect and journey together through this most Holy Week and into the joy of Easter, beginning in the Raynhams on Palm Sunday morning 29th March. Palm Sunday then ends in the evening with Stations of the Cross at St Margaret's, Tatterford. Our Journey then continues on Maundy Thursday (2nd April) for a reflective evening service (7pm) at St Martin's South Raynham. Our journey then continues as we dramatically retell the story of the Passion at St Martin's, Houghton on Good Friday (3rd April) at 10.30am - the service ends with the distribution off the 'bread dole' in the form of Hot Cross Buns for all. We then pick our story up on Easter Day (5th April) at 6am around the Fire of New Life in Helhoughton for a dawn service of Light which will be deliciously topped of with breakfast buns in the church hall. The Easter Day Communion Service, with the blessing of light, will be held this year at St Margaret's Tatterford.
Then at 3pm we gather together for a very special Easter Day service—the first at East Rudham for some time! So let’s celebrate together and make it a day to remember. We’ll begin with a short and joyful Easter Songs of Praise, then the fun continues with an Easter Egg Hunt in the church and churchyard—perfect for children (and the young at heart!). This service and event is just the beginning of reopening St Mary’s East Rudham as a warm, welcoming space for the whole community… so watch this space!
Everyone is very welcome to journey with us from Palm Sunday, through Holy Week and into the Joy of Easter Day.For more information please see the events page of our website: Services & Events
