It is with great sadness we report that Revd Dr John Reader has passed away suddenly. John was Rector in The Ironstone Benefice from 2009 until 2020. He was taken ill last week and died on Sunday October 1st, peacefully with his wife Christine and son Simon by his side. The funeral will take place on Friday 20th October 2pm at the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Wootton by Woodstock.
