Anna Chaplaincy

The Anna Chaplaincy Team support older people emotionally and spiritually.

Anna teas are open to all in their maturity but we also welcome anyone who would value the social interaction it affords. Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t joined us before. Any questions, please ring or email Revd Heather using the details above.

The Anna tea in December will be different! Mindful of the darker days I am planning to hold a prayer book 1662 Communion service at 2pm at Dunsden on the 11th December prior to celebrating the forthcoming season of Christmas, with a glass of mulled wine, Christmas cake and mince pies. EVERYONE is welcome but I do need to know you are coming for catering purposes please.

January Community Lunch
Following a very successful community church lunch at Shiplake Meadows, we will be going there again in February. Our next lunch will be at Henley Golf club on January 15th. Menus will be circulated in December but it would be helpful to know before if you intend to come. Please contact Revd Heather for further details. Services, Prayer Group and Visits
We regularly visit many of the local residential care homes, as follows:

Henley Manor - a service on the 1st Tuesday of each month. 
Albert Court - a prayer group on the subsequent Tuesdays.

Tower House - Holy Communion is usually taken to Tower House on the 1st Monday of the month, except Bank Holidays.
Lashbrook House - a short service and individual offering of the sacramental bread and wine usually takes place at Lashbrook House on the second Tuesday of the month around 10.45 or by mutual arrangement with the staff.
