St Benedict's

Hello, and a warm welcome from St Benedict's.

We strive to be a church that welcomes everybody. Whether you are a regular church-goer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us as we learn more about Jesus’ teachings through fellowship, fun and liturgy.

St Benedict’s is the Church of England parish church for Briar Hill, Camp Hill, East Hunsbury, Hunsbury Meadows and West Hunsbury in Northampton. We form part of the Diocese of Peterborough. Our church was built in 1984 but our parish includes the oldest inhabited sites in Northampton.

We work with the local community including schools, parish councils, Scouting and Guiding, local businesses, and interest groups.

Safeguarding

"The parish of Northampton: St Benedict is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
