Cantus Vesperi choir perform choral evensong services across the island and have visited St Lawrence previously. Choral evensong is a long music tradition especially heard in cathedrals across our country but is sadly not sung that much now in parish churches due to the falling number of  church choirs. So it was all the more special to hear the service of evensong sung as it should be with responses and an anthem along with congregational hymns. After the service refreshments were enjoyed by the choir and the congregation ands the choir will certainly be returning again in the future.
