About Us
Our Benefice consists of 3 churches: St Mary the Virgin, Braughing; St Mary the Virgin Furneux Pelham and St Mary's Stocking Pelham. Our Benefice has been in vacancy since our last Rector retired in August 2022. We hope to have a new priest by the middle of 2024.
We hold a service every sunday in 1 of the 3 churches, the type of service depends on whether we have a visiting Priest or Lay Reader, or whether we are organising the service ourselves. Please see service page for details or noticeboard outside the church.
Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals are still taking place although it may take a little longer to organise a celebrant.
