Dear Friends

We are definitely deep in summer weather at the moment and I hope you are managing to remain cool, it has been very difficult for some of you I know. Please do not forget that both St James, High Wych and St Mary’s, Gilston are open during the day and are beautifully cool buildings where you could chill, pray, read and enjoy peace and quiet. We are working on the Wi-Fi so that we can then offer these spaces as cool places where you can work.

What a lovely weekend we have lined up.

We have the wedding of Nicolla and Gavin on Saturday at 2.00 pm at St James, High Wych, please pray for them.

On Sunday we have our 8.00 am BCP Communion service at St James.

We are then having breakfast together with bbq bacon sandwiches and pastries at 9.30 am followed by a short family friendly service from 10.00 am.

We will follow this service with a quick Messy Church team meeting, and…

At 3.00 pm on Sunday we also have the Harlow Singers performing for us in St James, please come and support them and stay cool away from that afternoon sunshine.

Just a reminder we are still in our Generosity and Giving Opportunity time frame so if you have filled your response card in don’t forget to bring it and put in the box at the back of St James, High Wych.
