Dear Friends

I am sending this a little early to give you all notice that the Quiz Night that was happening on Saturday 17th October at Gilston and Eastwick Village Hall has been postponed, due to fewer numbers of tickets being reserved, possibly because of the road closure. I am really sorry if this affects your weekend plans and this was something you were looking forward to. If you are desperate to bring a team to a Quiz Night we are running another on 14th November at High Wych Memorial Hall – so save the date, more details to follow.

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at either our 9.30 am morning communion service at St James, High Wych this Sunday 18th , or our Messy Church session, which this time will be happening at High Wych Memorial Hall from 3.00 pm – to 5.00 pm.

We do need shoe boxes for this service so, if you are able to, can you bring them into church in the morning, that would be most helpful?

If you want to join the Alpha Course and find out more about your journey of faith, please let me know and join us at the Rectory on Monday 19th October at 7.30 pm. All are welcome – no question too simple or silly.

I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Every blessing

Alison
