The Shoreline Benefice
The Shoreline Benefice consists of the parishes of Shotley, Erwarton, Chelmondiston and Harkstead. Situated on the Shotley peninsula these four parishes each have their own unique and different character. The churches and parishes are steeped in history, both ancient and more recent. The churches are open every day and you will be made most welcome at any of our services which you will find listed under each individual church.

Safeguarding
The Shoreline Benefice is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Benefice Safeguarding Officer, Mrs Anne Jowett (See Safeguarding page). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
