Set in the heart of the Stour Valley in South Suffolk, we are at the heart of the six communities in which we live and serve: Cavendish, Clare, Hundon, Poslingford, Stoke-by-Clare, & Wixoe - helping to make God's love known to all.

The annual cycle of the Church's year ends with the Feast of Christ the King. The year that began with the hope of the coming Messiah (Advent) ends with the proclamation of Christs universal sovereignty.

The ascension of Christ has revealed him to be the Lord of earth and heaven, and final judgement is one of his proper kingly purposes. The Feast of Christ the King returns us to the Advent theme of judgement, with which the cycle of the Church's year begins again next Sunday.

Our bible readings this week are: Jeremiah 23:1-6 Colossians 1:11-20; Luke 23:33-43.

Our hymns this week are, 'All people that on earth do dwell', and 'Rejoice, the Lord is King'.

A service booklet to accompany today's service can be downloaded from the church website or alternatively email Revd Mark for a copy at "[email protected]"
