The news has been received of the recent death of Alan Gill, former Rector of this Benefice 2000 - 2009.  He was 83 and survived his wife, Marjory, by 2 1/2 years.  We hold his family in our prayers at this sad time.

As and when we receive information about his funeral, we will share it here.
