The latest round of advertising and closing date for a new rector for the Long Barrow Benefice has come and gone with no one applying. The churches in the benefice have now been without an incumbent for 18 months. 

We should like to say a big thank you to all the retired ministers, licensed lay ministers, the lay worship leaders and church wardens and visits by Bishop Stephen, Bishop Karen and our arch deacon Penny for ensuring that most services have happen with out hitch over this period.  I would like also to take the opportunity to wish the team a very merry Christmas and happy New Year.
