Lighting a candle and singing carols in the dark is a really special part of Christmas for many of us. This year at our annual Christingle service we were supported by Community Champion Angie Beacock at Morrisons in Brough, through a generous donation of oranges.  These form part of the tradition we follow at Christingle services. A candle is placed in the orange and represents Jesus as the light of the world. We managed to raise £x this year for the national charity, Children's Society through the collection after the service. It was also a lovely event that helped us get into the Christmas spirit
