Bletchingdon - St Giles

The Akeman Benefice is a group of seven historic churches in North Oxfordshire, including Bletchingdon, Chesterton, Hampton Gay, Kirtlington, Middleton Stoney, Wendlebury, and Weston on the Green. Our churches are very much at the heart of our community life, offering a haven of peace and reflection to all.

The Akeman Benefice is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer. The Diocese of Oxford's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our Benefice Safeguarding Officer.

For all safeguarding concerns please immediately inform the Benefice Safeguarding Officer, Nicky Donne, at [email protected].

Alternatively please contact the Benefice Rector, The Rev’d Gareth Miller, at [email protected] or 01869 350224.

If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention call the emergency services on 999. Do not delay.
