‘O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!’ (Psalm 8:1)
Hymn: O Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...
Isaiah 40:12-17, 27-31; 2 Corinthians 13:11-14
As sisters and brothers in God’s family, we come to ask our Father for forgiveness:
Most merciful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we confess that we have sinned in thought, word and deed. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. In your mercy forgive what we have been, help us to amend what we are, and direct what we shall be; that we may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you, our God. Amen.
May the God of love bring us back to himself, forgive us our sins, and assure us of his eternal love in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for the day: Holy God, faithful and unchanging: enlarge our minds with the knowledge of your truth, and draw us more deeply into the mystery of your love, that we may truly worship you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Matthew 28:16-20

One of the symbols used for the Trinity is a triangle in a circle, to represent the one God we worship as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Let us pray:
We pray for St Peter’s Church and for the Church throughout the world, that we will thrive;
We pray for the leaders of the UK and every nation, that peace and justice will reign;
We pray for Sheringham, that it’s beating community heart will be strong and healthy;
We pray for those who are sick, suffering or struggling, that their needs will be exceeded;
We pray for the people who have lost loved ones, that they will be comforted.
Let us pray for the coming of God’s kingdom in the prayer that Jesus taught us:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hymn: Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty! ...
May God keep us in all our days; may Christ Jesus shield us in all our ways;
may the Holy Spirit bring us healing and peace: and may the blessing of God Almighty who is Father, Son and Hoy Spirit bless us and remain with us always. Amen.
Let us share the love of God with our families, friends, neighbours and communities, today and every day. Amen.
