St Peter's Church in Sheringham is proud to stand alongside our partners at North Norfolk Aid for Ukraine, working tirelessly to deliver essential supplies to the courageous people of Ukraine. Last year, we provided significant support, including medications, bandages, and warm clothing.

However, this year presents new challenges as Russian attacks have increasingly targeted vital energy infrastructure within Ukraine. As a result, many Ukrainians are enduring bitterly cold temperatures without gas or electric heating in their homes.

In February, temperatures in Ukraine can plummet to -20 degrees Celsius. This harsh reality makes it imperative that we provide generators capable of powering heating and electrical supplies in emergency shelters. These generators are not just machines; they represent hope and warmth for those who need it most during these trying times. Our goal is to raise £500 to support North Norfolk Aid for Ukraine in their mission to deliver a portable power generator that will make a tangible difference to many lives.

If we exceed our fundraising target, rest assured that every additional penny will be directed to either acquiring more generators or covering the costs of transporting equipment and supplies from the United Kingdom to Ukraine.
