What to Expect when you Visit

You are invited to join us for worship.

On Sunday mornings (except for the first Sunday each month) we use service booklets which are easy to follow, using Common Worship liturgy.

You may sit wherever you feel comfortable, no seats are reserved.

The service includes hymns and live organ music with a church choir who also sing anthems. You are welcome to sit and listen if you do not wish to join in with the hymns.

We offer a blessing if you prefer not to receive Holy Communion, and we are happy to offer seated communion or a blessing to those who find it difficult to come forward.

We share a chalice, but it is OK to bypass this if you wish: receiving the wafer is full communion.

There are resources available for anyone who finds sitting still uncomfortable.

We are an inclusive church.

Our toilets include a single cubicle with additional facilities.

We have dementia-friendly signage, a hearing loop, and large print service sheets and hymn books.

A contactless donation point is available as well as a wall safe for cash.

We offer refreshments after the service.

On the first Sunday of the month do join us for an informal cafe church service, during which there are activities as well as refreshments which include a late breakfast.

The 11am Eucharist on Thursdays uses traditional language. This is a quiet service of Holy Communion with no singing.

A friendly group of people will make you welcome at all of our services, whoever you are.

You are invited to visit the church for private prayer, to look around, to browse our Library of Inspiration, to sit for a while, or simply to shelter from the rain. The church is open between 10am and 3pm daily except for Wednesday mornings.

Interactive prayer stations are available in our Prayer Space.

There is a prayer list near the church entrance should you like us to pray for a loved one.
