Prayers shawls have been knitted/crocheted by church members. The making of them has been surrounded in prayer and they have been blessed. The idea is that if someone you know is struggling, in anyway, then by wrapping themselves in the prayer shawl they will be reminded of being wrapped in love and prayer by the church and the giver, and hopefully this tangible sign will be of comfort to them.
