St Bartholomew's, Corton

St Bartholomew's is a 14th Century church building just outside the modern village of Corton, north of Lowestoft. It is home to a congregation which serves the local community in Corton by sharing the love of God in the person and work of Jesus by the power of his Holy Spirit. We are part of the Diocese of Norwich in the Church of England.

Services are held at St Bartholomew's on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 9.30am. When there is a 5th Sunday in the month we gather together for worship at a Benefice service at one of the churches in our group of parishes.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Corton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Rachel Cossey, Email: [email protected] Phone 01502 731941) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer (email: [email protected] Phone: 01603 882345). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
