It was wonderful to see so many people turning out on an overcast day to attend this event. The whole premises were used to provide a variety of activities including a bouncy castle, various craft activities, information about Nigerian food and delicious samples to taste. Children and adults together enjoyed a scavenger hunt based of the Olympics and were pleased to receive their own medals when they successfully completed the task. Those barbequing and serving free burgers and hot dogs on the corner of Roman Road and Haward Street where kept busy as were the ladies selling homemade cakes and biscuits.Thank you for coming it was good to spend time with you. We are also grateful to those who gave donations towards the cost of the event.
The Bishop of Norwich said: “Each of these people have given and continue to give outstanding service to the Church in our Diocese. They will be great ambassadors for the Cathedral in the Diocese and vice versa.”On the photograph from left to right: Bishop of Norwich, Revd Helen Jary, Revd Karlene Kerr, Revd Damon Rogers, Revd Richard James, Dean of Norwich
