During this period of Thy Kingdom Come we have been reflecting on The Lord's Prayer as pray for the residents of Roman Hill along with friends and family members who do not yet know the love of Jesus. In the church we also remember the Ascension of Jesus back to heaven after he was raised to life on Easter Sunday. It is also the beginning of a time of global prayer 'Thy Kingdom Come' https://www.thykingdomcome.global/<br><br>Thank you Lord that you love the world you created, you know all that is happening in each country and yet you are also know and love each person living in Cathcart Street. Nothing is too big or too small for you. We pray that the people in this street will be aware of your presence with them this week, through creation, the love of friends and neighbours or the kindness of strangers. Bless and encourage them in their daily lives. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for each person who lives and works here. You know them, love them and want the best for them. We ask that they may know your presence with them in the routine activities of life and in times of joy and sorrow.We pray for all who visit the cemetery to remember loved ones and for those recently bereaved. May they know your peace Lord in their loneliness and pain. Amen.
We thank you Lord for all who live in this small area of Roman Hill. You know and understand all aspects of their lives, the things that bring these people joy and happiness and the areas of their lives where they are struggling. We ask that where they are facing challenges and pain you will bring healing, where they are discouraged and lack motivation you will bring people alongside them to give them hope and encouragement. We lift the people of Palladium Court to you Lord and ask that they may know your blessings this week. Amen
