From Horsford C of E Primary School news sheet April 2022

Revd Margaret joins with the school Spring Challenge which this term was to collect Easter Eggs which would be donated to the local care homes via Reverend Margaret.  Our original target was 60 eggs, however the enthusiasm of our children on both sites has meant we have well and truly exceeded this.

Reverend Margaret collected a total of 264 eggs from both of the Easter services which she did with the children which now means we can also provide an egg to elderly people living on their own in the village as well as the amazing staff who work at the care homes.

During the service at Mill Lane two children spoke confidently about why they donated eggs and how it made them feel knowing they would be putting a smile on faces. Their reasons for donating eggs was lovely to hear.

Thank you for supporting the school with our challenge this term; Revd Margaret and Mrs Westlake, one of the office staff, will be distributing the eggs.

Thank you to Tesco for donating a total of 33 eggs, 18 from Alysham and 15 from Drayton, really fantastic community support!!
