Heritage Open Day - Hard Hat Visits

Occurring
for 4 hours
Venue
St John the Baptist, Nash
Address
St John the Baptist, Nash, Nash, SY8 3DQ, United Kingdom

On Tuesday September 15th, as part of our National Lottery Heritage Fund refurbishment project at our sister church, St John the Baptist, Nash (SY8 3DQ), we are offering a unique opportunity for 3 groups of up to 10 people to have a closer look at the rebuilding work at 10 am, 11.30 am and 2 pm.

The church is a building site, so you need to be 18 or over to go inside the site boundary, and there are a few Health and Safety considerations - but now is a great time to get up close and personal with the beautiful 16th century spire with the cladding removed and carpenters at work.

Full details are on the attached flyer - and pre-booking is essential. To book your place, text or send a WhatsApp message to 07784 064383 or email [email protected].

Boraston Church

Welcome to the page of Boraston Church.  This is one of two Listed medieval churches in the ecclesiastical parish of Nash and Boraston - our sister church is St John the Baptist at Nash.  We have 2 services a month in the parish - Morning Prayer here at Boraston at 11 am on the 4th Sunday every month, and Holy Communion at Nash Church on the 1st Sunday. Major festivals are additional, and they alternate between the two churches.

We are part of Tenbury Team Ministry. All the churches in the Team are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
