During Holy Week we gather for the Eucharist on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, marking the days that lead us toward the Passion. These services offer space for prayer, scripture, and sacrament as we walk more closely with Christ in the final days of his earthly ministry. Each Eucharist stands as a quiet act of preparation, drawing us deeper into the mystery of Holy Week before the solemn days of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Colwall: St James the Great

Currently we hold a service in Colwall every Sunday and in Coddington on two Sundays each month. Our churches will be open for private prayer every day.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Colwall & Upper Colwall is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Joy Conlon on 07850 892559 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
