We are now at the stage of public consultation regarding the proposed re-structuring of Abbeydore Deanery into 4 Benefices. We are already operating under the banner of these new benefices and have in this area since January 2025. This measure is to legally formalise the benefices. Full notices may be found on the church notice boards. Anyone may make representations for or against all or any part or parts of the draft Scheme (please include the reasons for your views) by post or, preferably, by email to reach Patrick.Brown@churchofengland.org no later than midnight on Tuesday 7 April 2026.
Thanks to grants from Garfield Weston, Awards for All, Pilgrim trail, Mumford Trust, Pebbles Foundation, Lasletts, Hereford Historic Churches Trust, Benefact Trust, Headley Trust and Beatrice Laing Trust, local fundraising and donations, work to install a kitchen, toilet and storage area has now been completed.
