Bishop Richard has called for us to see 2024 as a Diocesan Year of Faith. He says, “My hope is that this will help each of us to grow in confidence in our faith in Jesus, so that we feel better equipped and enabled to share it with others and proclaim Christ.” There is a programme of events organised by the Diocese, and there are two I would like to recommend in particular: one is nearby and the other is on our doorstep.

The first is at St Laurence’s Ludlow on Saturday 10th February from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., where Bishop Richard will teach us about “Growing confidence in the word of God”, with worship and seminars.

The second is in our own Community Centre on Thursday 14th March from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., which is a Bishop’s study day with discussion to deepen our faith, with guest speakers Paul Williams, CEO of the Bible Society, and Dr Andrew Ollerton, presenter of the Bible Course.
