Annual pilgrimage to the grave of St John Kemble. Our friends at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Monmouth organise a pilgrimage each year from Monmouth to St Mary's Welsh Newton. The pilgrims set off at 10.15am from St Mary's in Monmouth and get to St Mary's Welsh Newton at around 3pm where they gather for rosary, readings and prayers in the churchyard. They then travel back to Monmouth for benediction followed by tea at St Mary's in Monmouth. If you are joining the walk, please bring a packed lunch. For enquiries, please contact Mrs M. A special afternoon outdoor church event for families, in the beautiful Buckholt Woods, with Bible stories, games, crafts, exploring the natural world, hot drinks and food. All ages are welcome, and the event is free.

A simple, Christian meditation for 20 minutes, in the church. You're very welcome just to come for the meditation or to stay on for outdoor church and breakfast.

Twice a month we head outdoors (after meditation, which is in the church) for breakfast and Bible study by the firepit. There are outdoor activities for the children, based around a passage of the Bible. Breakfast is free - just make sure you wrap up warmly in the colder months! If it's raining we usually head indoors.
