This is a very important fundraiser for the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust, who have always been most generous in their support of the Parishes in Brown Clee. Most churches will be open throughout Shropshire and definately all those in our Benefice. You can walk, or drive to each church, some of who provide refreshments for all those taking part. Please come and join us at this very special event. This year we are seeking teams of four to go on a CAR SAFARI for RIDE & STRIDE, preferably with a teetotal or non-drinker as the driver. This year the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust have made a grant of £5,000 to Ditton Priors. Ride & Stride is their biggest fundraiser, so can we have fun and raise much needed funds. We are hoping to visit each of the seven Churches of the Brown Clee Benefice with suitable refreshment being purchased from the four local pubs along the way. If this appeals to you and you are interested, please let us know. We hope to raise Ride & Stride sponsorship for this good cause and have fun along the way with your help and support!

Dedicated to the Holy Trinity, Wheathill Church is set in a lovely rural location with panoramic views. It serves a dispersed rural community and is home to a small, friendly congregation.

Revd Joe Simons is Rector of the Brown Clee Group of Churches. Joe and his wife, Karen live in the Vicarage. Please pray for Joe as he continues his ministry in Brown Clee.
