Christ Church Henton will be closed from Monday 29th December 2025, until the end of May 2026, for revitalisation work. (Please see the Revilatisation Page for more details.) While the revitalisation work is taking place people are encouraged to visit Christ Church Coxley or St Matthew's Church, Wookey. Some services at the other churches have been added to Christ Church Henton's service schedule, but please visit the churches individual pages.

Benefice Holy Communion Service

On this day, there is one service for the 3 parishes, and it's being held in Coxley Church. There will be carols to sing and we continue to celebrate the birth of Jesus, with Holy Communion, prayers, Bible readings and a short talk.

An advent discussion about Jesus - we’ll learn about the forgotten women in Jesus ancestry – perhaps prompting Jesus’ affection for the marginalised.

This session is part of a series: ‘Life in a Comma’, which helps us to see Christ as more than just the baby in the manger or the saviour on the cross. The sessions are all standalone sessions, so if you can’t attend all of the sessions you’ll still get something out of it.
