Join us at this informal breakfast at Henton Village Hall. Arrive anytime between 9am and 9:30am. There'll be food, an optional quiz and a talk. There is also activities and crafts for children. This is a great monthly event to attend, and new people and families are always welcome to come along.

A fascinating talk by Esther Eyre, Goldsmith! Esther will share her extensive knowledge of pearls, where they come from, how they are made, what colours and shapes they come in, the history of the jewel and its fashion adventures. She will talk about royalty’s love affair with pearls and the many celebrities who sport pearl earrings and necklaces, such as Harry Styles and Rihanna.

Arrive at 7pm for 7:30pm. And afterwards, if there is time, she will be very happy to value individual pieces, for a donation to the Henton Church Revitalising fund.

Revd Jan is planning 6 sessions looking at what Christians believe. Get to know others as we discuss the bible and how it relates to our lived experiences. Join us for a service of Holy Communion. There will be hymns, prayers, Bible readings and a short sermon too. Plus tea and coffee served after the service.

Join a small group to explore stories of fallings-out and making up from the Old Testament. Each week we'll focus on a one work of art, and hear the story of from the Bible. Here's an invitation to experience a labyrinth walk with experienced facilitator Nicola Fidgin from Wessex Labyrinth Walks. Nicola will bring her portable labyrinth and guide us through the process of mindful, meditative, prayerful walking.

Join us for a traditional and musical evening service.

This is a beautiful service, which uses service booklets so that you know which parts the minister says, and which parts the congregation say aloud. One of the main parts of the service is the Psalm for the day, which is either said aloud or sung. This is followed by readings from the Bible, including the joyous words of the Virgin Mary when she learned she would give birth to Jesus, and the heartfelt words of Simeon, when he recognises the Messiah when he meets Jesus. The service ends with prayers: the Lord's Prayer, the prayer for the day, a prayer for peace and a prayer for help against troubles. There are four hymns which are sung during the service, and a a short talk too.

A quiet hour to refresh your inner self with Taizé style prayer and worship. We’ll be pondering how we Journey with God - with readings, a beautiful selection of chants, and silence – take time out for quiet reflection. We hope that you can come and experience this special style of worship with us.

Ghislain Taschini, a Partner with Operational Excellence Consultancy Bourton Group and with 25 years experience in defence and related sectors, will examine its evolving role and relevance in contemporary global security and the difficulties of internal cohesion within the organisation.
