Address
St Matthew's, Wookey, St Matthew's Terrace Wookey Wells Somerset, BA5 1JR, United Kingdom

At Pentecost we give thanks for God's spirit - changing and empowering Jesus' followers. Jesus’ disciples changed from being fearful to courageous. Jesus was no longer with them physically, but God’s Holy Spirit was and still can bring us courage and fullness of life. There'll be Holy Communion, songs, Bible readings, prayers and a short talk to inspire.

This is the only service taking place in our churches this Sunday, so we hope that you can join us!

All Together Communion at Henton

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Christ Church, Henton
Address
Wells Road Henton Somerset, BA5 1PD, United Kingdom

This is a special treat - a chance for people from all three parishes to come and worship together in Henton Church, after the successful completion of Phase 1 of Christ Church Henton Revitalising!

Join us at this Holy Communion service, for all ages, with singing, Bible readings, prayers, and a short talk. There is space for children to play and be creative in the church, or they can join in with the service. This is a more relaxed church service than other Holy Communion services, making it great if you're exploring your faith. Everyone is welcome, and there's a chance to chat to other people after the service over coffee.
