Christ Church Henton closed on Monday 29th December 2025, and will remain closed until the end of May 2026, for revitalisation work. (Please see the Revilatisation Page for more details.) While the revitalisation work is taking place people are encouraged to visit Christ Church Coxley or St Matthew's Church, Wookey. Some services at the other churches have been added to Christ Church Henton's service schedule, but please visit the churches individual pages.

Ash Wednesday Holy Communion Service

Join us for a Holy Communion service to mark the start of lent. During the service the mark of the cross will be made on everyone's forehead. The ashes are made from palm crosses which are associated with the start of Holy Week with Palm Sunday. This is a very special way to start the period of lent, and everyone is welcome to attend.
