Here's your opportunity to have a tasty Cream Tea in a lovely garden in Coxley, and raise money for Coxley Church. There will be range of stalls (Nearly New/Gifts/Cakes and Plants) to enjoy and a raffle too. If it's wet, we'll be inside. We hope to see you there!

Join us as people from all three parishes to come and worship together. We're rotating the services around the three churches, and this time we're in Coxley Church. There will be Holy Communion, hymns, prayers, Bible readings and a short sermon too. Plus tea and coffee served after the service.

Come and join us in Wookey Churchyard by the River Axe for a really fun evening for all of the community! There'll be food, bar, games and a range of stalls (Cakes/ Homegrown/ tombolas and more) opening from 5pm. Plastic ducks race down the River Axe for 5 races, with local businesses providing the prizes. First race is at 5:30pm. Ducks are £1 per race. Money raised goes to Wookey Church. Please bring cash with you.

A quiet hour to refresh your inner self with Taizé style prayer and worship. We’ll focus on ‘Learning to Pray.’ With readings, a beautiful selection of chants, silence and prayers – take time out for quiet reflection.

Wookey Church is named after Saint Matthew’s and we’ve holding a special Open Day which all of the community is invited to attend.

Ever wondered what the view is from the top of the church tower? Join a free tower tour to see part of St Matthew’s which is normally off limits. Outside, we’re holding a treasure hunt for children with nature activities explore how the churchyard supports local wildlife. Inside, there’s a self-guided Walking Tour around the church showing some interesting historical features. There’s an I-Spy Quest for children to enjoy too. Want to just relax? Come and enjoy tea and cakes, and listen to a performance by Choirworks! All donations are welcome, to help us maintain this historic church, and benefit the local community.
