Come and bask in the beauty of nature, with the array of colours, and scents which flowers bring to our lives. Henton Church will be a beautiful setting for a Flower Festival, taking place on 4th and 5th May. There will be flower arrangements produced by local people, all depicting 'village life', using locally grown flowers and ones from further afield. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and a slice of cakes in a special building that is in the heart of Henton. There are no fees, but donations would be greatly appreciated for attending the Flower Festival and for refreshments. All money raised will go toward Henton Revitalisation.

Welcome to our page on A Church Near You! 

Christ Church Henton is a beautiful church in the village of Henton, near Wells. We are part of a group of 3 churches and 4 parishes, known as a benefice, which are looked after by Revd Jan Shellard-James.

There are services every Sunday, however if there is a 5th Sunday in a month, a service might take place at a different church in the benefice. There is also a weekly prayer meeting which is held every Monday. On the 1st Sunday of the month is a relaxed service over breakfast at Henton Village Hall, which is free, and very much enjoyed. You are very welcome to come to any of our services or events, and details of these can be found on this website, or on our own website www.chwchurches.co.uk There are also more details about the this church and the benefice on our website.
