St Stephen's, Lansdown

Saint Stephen’s is a church family that is excited by the limitless possibilities of God, who creates and imagines; by the radical love and inclusion of Jesus of Nazareth, and by the abiding Spirit who connects us and enables us to live this wonderful gift of life to the full. We are part of a United Benefice with St Mary’s, Charlcombe, the oldest church in Bath. We hold very dearly hospitality, generosity and inclusion. Here is a gathered community of all kinds of traditions and beliefs, and all ages. We have a heart for welcome and journeying, and have a passion live God’s peaceable Kingdom without and within.

Safeguarding

St Stephen's, Lansdown is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO via [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [details here: https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/parish-support/safeguarding/reporting-concerns-or-abuse/]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
