It is with regret and sadness that we can now announce that our Priest in Charge Rev Denise Calverley will be leaving us to take up the role of Priest in Charge of the Parish of Yatton Moor with Cleeve and Claverham. We as a Benefice whilst delighted in this news for Rev Denise are aware that announcing her departure from Publow with Pensford, Compton Dando and Chelwood village after 8 1/2 years with us will be received with different emotions than those of her future benefice. Please pray for Denise, Richard and their family, our PCCs and churches as she helps us to prepare for our future without her. And as she prepares to move into her new role in the rich ministry she will bring to the Parish of Yatton Moor with Cleeve and Claverham. Rev Denise’s licensing and Service of Welcome will be held Thursday July 31st 7:00pm. The church where the service is to be held is to be arranged. You are all warmly invited to attend. Our prayers and blessings go with Rev Denise & Richard and her family in this season of change.
